The invitation I created for the retiring Dean of the College of Architecture and Urban Studies at Virginia Tech won a 2017 Graphic Design USA Award.

I’m honored to be featured as one of Graphic Design USA’s Educators to Watch.
I recently developed a website for the FutureHAUS project and the 2018 Solar Decathlon Dubai, and I serve as webmaster for both pages. Additionally, I redesigned the logo for the FutureHAUS project.
With the help of a wonderful group of people, I was able to organize a free screening of Design Disruptors at the Moss Arts Center, in Blacksburg, Virginia for February 2nd.

Seen here is my holiday card design for this year. I based it on lettering found in the book “The Art of Illuminating Letters throughout Europe in the Earliest Times,” which I saw on a trip to the Special Collections Library with my Hand Lettering class.
